Camper Living

We have been living in the camper for about a month and half now. At first I was beyond over whelmed with the small space. I would have anxiety just thinking about going back inside the camper. Trying to run a full time photography business and have 5 people in a total of 208 sq feet seemed impossible at times. I kept going over all the problems and trying to find solutions, ways to fix them and make them doable while we were in here. I have to say tho I have had great support from sweet friends who have let us take baths, showers, do laundry and even help babysit! I have had other sweet friends who have offered and I yet to take them up on it. I cannot express how much these sweet acts of love mean to me!! Thank you!

Just in the past few days I am beginning to feel better and feel like I am getting a handle on it all. It started with getting the shower in the camper working and ready for use. I was so excited! I got in the shower and  the water was all warm and nice and before I could even get the shampoo in my hair it was cold. HAHAHA I just have to laugh at that. We figured it out tho if I just turn off the water in between soaps it works great! Better than the bathhouse. It seems so silly but the simple act of having some form of water even in a small measure where you are is a huge sanity helper. This reminds me of the poor woman in Africa who have to walk miles and miles to get very little water that is often not even clean. I am thankful for what I have!

  have been a little disappointed with myself that I have had such a hard time. Here I want to be a missionary in the bush of Africa and  I find myself crying about the hardness of camper living with 3 small babes and a cat. I am glad that we are going through this and that I am being shown what is in my heart :) Although I have to say living with less has been great and there are only a few, and I mean like one or two things that I have missed and I can't even remember what they are. Even after we move into our big house I would like to continue to need less and live with less. But I think my over all goal in this is to never be so attached to so many things that I couldn't give it all up and move where ever, or give it to someone else. I find joy in life tho and I want to continue to do so in each season, I have struggled with this often, just being happy in the season and place that I am in. I am striving to do so!

With all that said I have great news! They are starting on our house June 17th!! They will start the framing on the 28th and they should be done by the 2nd half of August with the whole house!
